The newest set of LEED v5 rating system drafts are ready for a second public comment and review. This second public comment period is open from Sept. 27–Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. ET.
In spring 2024, the first LEED v5 public comment period received nearly 6,000 comments—critical feedback from a diverse community of individuals and organizations around the world. Next, those comments were reviewed and responded to by the LEED volunteers and staff responsible for the rating system. The drafts were then updated based on your feedback.
We invite you to join the conversation and participate in the second public comment. View the updates and let us know your thoughts. To receive updates on public comments and other milestones, events and opportunities shared on an ongoing basis, complete the sign-up form on the LEED v5 webpage.
